Weed abatement is the process of physically or mechanically removing already existing weeds. This may be done in several different ways: spraying them with herbicides, and/or spraying the soil with a pre-emergent herbicide to prevent them from sprouting up for a determined time period or using equipment and tools.
There are many tools and equipment that can be used in weed abatement. Depending on the job we may use tractors, weed eaters, lawn mowers, and hand tools for cutting or removing weeds. We also use portable back sprayers to reach weeds on hillsides or difficult locations, and large vehicle mounted spray tanks that can hold up to 300 gallons.
Technicians who have been trained by owner Robert Apolinar who holds the California State Qualified Applicators License perform all spraying. Robert and his team are trained to always take precautions to identify weeds prior to determining which course of action to take. Determining the proper timing of application is key to successful weed control. Through years of experience with weed abatement on all scales, from large multi-acre fields, to small landscapes with minor weed infestations and every size and type of job in between we can successfully take care of all of your weed abatement needs.
